It was great to be interviewed by Adam on Radio Oxford recently. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough air-time to mention some really useful resources for trauma in the Oxfordshire area, so here they are:
- Metta Centre for Trauma Therapy is open for all on a sliding scale for those who can’t afford private therapy and who can’t access the NHS.
- Oxford Health Specialist Psychological Intervention Centre (OHSPIC). This is an NHS service and can take referrals from all over the country.
- Khiron House is a residential and outpatient recovery centre delivering cutting-edge nervous-system-based therapies.
- Banbury Therapy Group (where I work two days a week) has some trauma trained therapists.
